Joule Capital Ventures (JCV), a Houston based owner/operator of self-storage facilities is pleased to announce the formation of a new third-party management platform, Joule Storage Management.
Joule Storage Management (JSM) represents a collaborative effort into the third-party management space aimed at leveraging the collective experience of Erik Osterhus (founder) and Cassie Dodgen (co-founder). “We are excited about the opportunities we’ll be able to present to the self-storage marketplace. Cassie and I have had a great working relationship from our time together in the industry and it only made sense to take our collective management experience to market,” says Osterhus.
Dodgen will oversee day to day operations, while Osterhus’ primary role will be new business development. “I am thrilled to be part of the growth of JSM and expanding the reach of Joule into the third-party management space. We have already onboarded our first third party client and I am excited about the upcoming facilities we are bringing onto the platform,” says Dodgen.
Most recently, Dodgen served as the president of Pinnacle Storage Managers. Under her leadership, she stewarded the management of over 40 facilities in seven states, directing a nationwide operations team.
“In addition to strategic investments through JCV and our new third-party management venture (JSM), there’s a lot of work going on behind the scenes to optimize Joule Commercial (JComm), our internal construction division,” says Osterhus. “Previously, JComm was only utilized for our owned assets. Moving forward, we intend to manage growth carefully and focus on providing high quality project management and design build services to our strategic clients and partners. We are excited about two new construction projects we are starting in Q1 of 2025. With our latest business endeavor into the management space and our investments into our construction division, Joule is now better positioned to be a turn-key resource for owners, investors and clients in the self-storage space.”
